Seen at Bridge Art Fair Miami

Sculptural installations by the artist [dNASAb]

I saw these sculptures at this year's Bridge Art Fair Miami Beach, Catalina Hotel. Walking into Frederieke Taylor Gallery's room #115 was akin to entering another realm. I like art that is not easily described in words. [dNASAb]'s work is a challenge to describe (which leads to this random thought: if an artwork is very easily explained in words, then perhaps that product, the artwork, should be an essay or story instead of a visual translation. Anyway, it can be a discussion for another time...or not.)

These sculptures were so alive, so bizarre, somehow soothing and almost painterly. You can read about [dNASAb]'s work on his blog by clicking here. Just don't expect to find the scoop on his unusual moniker. You'll have to do a bit of web research for that.
