BLUES IN PROGRESS

A work in progress, about halfway complete...
See the completed result in Friday's post.
I've determined that using the heat gun on high isn't as scary as imagined, and it yields a noticeably faster result.

loving the blues Steph! met an encaustic artist recently, kandy lozano, she was telling us about using not only a heat gun, but a torch! sounds like you're getting comfortable with your new medium.

Yes, the torch is another tool used by encaustic painters. I've heard it works great. I'm not that bold, however! Some artists even use an iron for fusing layers.
